History for me is a discipline that studies the chain of historical events, how they are connected with each other, and how those events which happened centuries ago affected the world that we live in today. “Doing” history means studying those historical events using primary and secondary sources and analyzing them using critical thinking in order to shape one’s own perspective on the event and to understand what actually happened and what might have been exaggerated or seen differently by the author who lived in another historical period.
