In my research, I explored demographic, economic, and social changes that the Loyalists made when they migrated to Nova Scotia. I was interested in this topic because I knew almost nothing about the Loyalists, and, especially, about their lives after the Revolutionary War. While working on this project, I have learnt how the Loyalists left their homes in the United States, came to Nova Scotia, and managed to develop the province despite lots of challenges that they faced.
